Our project in a nutshell
FOCUS
The project is aimed at women tea workers in the Nuwara Eliya region of Sri Lanka. The decline in the Sri Lankan tea industry is putting their precarious livelihood in jeopardy.
GOAL
Provide these women with an alternative, better source of livelihood. Women will be given 6-months training in organic farming and basic business management skills.
VISION
Empower women to gain a sense of independence, increase their income and improve their living conditions and their health as well as those of their families.
